In 2022, the New York Liberty clinched a spot in the WNBA Playoffs. The win marked the franchise’s second consecutive postseason appearance and 17th in the history of the franchise.
I wanted to reimagine the brand’s “Own The Crown” tagline with an elevated look & feel. The project was approached with three intents: stay true our Brooklyn roots, highlight the tenaciousness of our players, and showcase a luxury championship team in the making.
Relying heavily on photo compositing and patterns pulled from history books, I positioned our players as queens of the court, presiding over their royal galleries. We run this town. Our court, our city.
